About Helen

I offer visual arts based workshops and projects that cater for people of all ages and abilities.

I am very passionate about engaging people from all walks of life to realise and achieve their creative dreams, especially those who may not ordinarily have the opportunity to engage in the arts. I am a firm believer that the process is more important than the end result, however, I endeavour to ensure that ALL participants in my workshops leave with something they will feel proud of.

AIMS

My aims are to support, encourage and inspire participants to engage in activities that will encourage:

• Skill development in a range of art forms
• Therapeutic outcomes
• An increase in their quality of life via the arts and socialisation
• Above all FUN

To involve participants in arts based community development projects promoting:

• The development of a product/project that is meaningful to the participants.
• The development of a product/project that may carry a message that can be promoted to their communities
• An important message and the sense of empowerment this brings to those involved
