As a support worker, it had been such a pleasure to work with Helen. I have always been impressed by the sympathetic, encouraging, understanding and caring way Helen relates to the members of her classes. Helen brings a variety of interesting concepts to her classes using a diversity of media which exposes everyone to new and exciting ideas. The completed projects show Helen's huge talent and the success she has in extracting such high standards from everyone.

I can't speak highly enough of her.

We have had the lucky opportunity to share many events and activities where Helen has supported a person in music/movement activities in “Sound Circle” to facilitating many art workshops and activities for People with disability.

Helen is a very genuine person who honestly treasures knowing her students on one to one basis. Helen has an amazing way of assisting to bring out the creativity in your clients and their support companions.

Our guests attend Helen’s visual arts class on the Northside of Brisbane. They are high needs and respond extremely well to Helen’s methods and her ability to bring out all our guests artistic potential.

It is always a pleasure to see Helen and her enthusiastic response and caring nature with her students and her community. Thank you, Helen, for maintaining the artistic flow for all to discover and enjoy.

Kind Regards,

Helen Bradshaw has been my mentor for over 1 year now. I have progressed from not having any idea about where my art is taking me to creating constantly with a firm belief and direction. She has done this by sharing her experiences, time and skills. I personally am quite amazed at how she seems to enable individuals to express themselves without any pressure. Helen gets the result she strives for and often surpasses it.

Her art class is actually a place of expression for all and it is so appealing, people come from far and wide to attend.

Helen Bradshaw facilitated a series of art workshops at SWARA in 2010 and 2011. She is a wonderful artist who works brilliantly with our members. She inspires people to get their creative juices flowing and the artworks created now adorn and beautify our Centre.
