Stencil Paper Printing
Expected Outcomes:
Participants search local environment for natural objects such as leaves, grasses, and flowers, anything that has texture, is 3-dimentional (but not too bulky) & inspires participant. The concept of successful design techniques will be covered. The found objects are used to create a stencil to print or stamp patterns onto different papers and in different ways. Colour and printing options will be discussed.
Mono Printing
Expected Outcomes:
Items that can be printed onto:
- A variety of beautiful papers of different weights and textures
Examples of what papers can be made into:
- Framed Artworks
- Cards
- To cover special workbooks, diaries, etc.
- Gifts in all of the above
Materials/Tools participants will need to bring:
Optional
- Interesting found and/or organic objects, e.g. leaves,
Stencil/basic fabric printing

Colour and printing options will be discussed.

- Calico bags
- T-shirts &/or light coloured items of clothing
- Pieces of fabric
Examples of what cut fabrics can be made into:
- Bags
- Cushion covers
- Bandanna’s
- Wall hangings or framed fabrics
- Silk scarves, etc.
Materials/Tools participants will need to bring:
Optional
- Interesting found and/or organic objects, e.g. leaves, grasses, gauze, doilies, etc.
Materials/tools I will provide:
- ALL including visual resources for ideas
