Collage 'Your Life’s Journey’
Expected Outcomes:
To create a collage depicting aspects of 'Your Life¡'s Journey', in the past, present and/or future
Materials/Tools participants will need to bring:
Express your journey using (Ideas only):
- Found objects, flat or 3D (as long as object is not too heavy!), fabric, ribbon, string, buttons, beads, old jewelry, paper, cardboard, plant matter (e.g. leaves, flowers, twigs, etc.), plastic, metal, broken china, etc.
- Photo's
- Photocopies of photo's
- Magazine and/or newspaper cuttings
- Images downloaded from the internet
- Old tickets, labels
- Small plastic toys
Aims are to promote:
- Self-awareness
- Self-esteem
- Self-confidence & belief in self
- Open mind to new possibilities
- Courage to follow dreams
- Discussion & support in how to follow dreams
- An artwork/s that explores this journey & can be used as tool to keep individuals journey on track in the future
Participants will be taught different techniques & have access to:
- Watercolours & Acrylics
- Painting mediums
- A variety of papers
- Canvas
- Mixed media materials
- Mono printing
- Blow Painting & Drag Art & more
Materials/tools I will provide:
- ALL including a selection of objects for participants to use & visual resources for ideas
No planning required by participants unless they wish to
